were spotted sharing the same flight. The image of the two veterans in the same
flight went viral soon after it surfaced online recently.
In a classic case of
a besotted fan looking for a photo op with the legendary actor, the pilot of
the flight posed for a picture with Amitabh. Yash Raj Films’ ‘Silsila’ was the
last film that saw the two thespians sharing screen together. And if all goes
well, then fans of this super-hit Jodi of Hindi cinema might get a chance to
see them in Aneez Bazmee’s ‘Welcome Back’.
Rumours of a whirlwind
romance between the duo in the late 70s-80s has been the fodder of many
entertainment and gossip magazines and newspapers for all these years. While
both Amitabh and Rekha have time and again denied being in a relationship, the
rumours have refused to die down. And the conscious decision on part of the
actors to stay away from each other, both on and off screen.
Big B and Rekha
were believed to have shared a great chemistry both on and off screen! They
have done several films together and the list includes - `Do Anjaane’,
‘Suhaag’, ‘Muqaddar Ka Sikander’, ‘Mr Natwarlal’, ‘Khoon Pasina’, ‘Namak
Haram’.
