"Thala" Ajith's "Arrambam", which hit the screens in 2013, won the Vijay Award for favourite film. Ilayathalapathy Vijay won the favourite hero award, while versatile actor Kamal Haasan bagged the best actor award for "Vishwaroopam."

Sivakarthikeyan, who is on a roll with back-to-back successful films, bagged the best entertainer of the year award. Santhanam won the best comedian award for the fifth consecutive time.
