Ek Villain has just completed an outstanding weekend at the domestic box office. The Sidharth Malhotra – Shraddha Kapoor film opened very well on Friday and dropped a little on Saturday. Even though the growth in business wasn’t huge on Sunday, the occupancy was high throughout the weekend.

On First day the collections were 16.5 cr, Second day the collections were 15.85 cr and on Sunday the film collected 17.25 cr, overall first weekend collections comes to 49.6 crore.

Ek Villain is only the second film this year, after Jai Ho, to collect nearly 50 cr in its first weekend.

On Monday the film has sustained reasonably well at most centres,  although quite a few centres where the film opened very well have dropped by 50-60%.
