Virat Kohli Fails To Score, Twitter Users Blame Anushka Sharma
Haters will hate. And Twitter has a fair share of haters who
need any excuse to unleash rants against women. They channeled their negative
energy against actor Anushka Sharma after her boyfriend, Virat Kohli, scored
one run in the World Cup semifinal between India and Australia today. The worst
tweet came from Kamal R Khan who said that people should throw stones at
Anushka Shamra’s house as she was responsible for India’s loss. But a lot of
celebs and people across India have condemned this tweet and those who blamed
the actress.
Some celebs from the Tamil film industry – like many in
Bollywood – stood up for Anushka. Actress and politician Khushbu who’s known to
be vocal took to social media and said, “Really want 2 slap dis guy whonua not
worth a penny,if he comes up with blame game n holds #AnushkaSharma rspnsblty
for @imVkohli dismissal.”
Actress Neetu Chandra too said it wasn’t fair to blame the
leggy lass. “NOT FAIR. What’s wrong with U guys? One is always responsible for
their own deeds. Why @AnushkaSharma it was just not @imVkohli day. SIMPLE,” she
stated.
Chinmayi Sripaada: One of the worst tendencies in Indians,
blaming/congratulating one partner for the other’s luck. All those who cussed
Anushka, a pox on you.
Rajan Sharma : Anushka Sharma went all the way to Sydney to
see Virat Kohli hit one run. why you came to sydney idiot!
Sharma's nasty heckling on Twitter today is a repeat of
March 19, when Kohli failed to score at the India-Bangladesh quarter final
match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Sharma, who is dating Kohli, was blamed
for "distracting" him during the all-important knockout match.
