Taj Mohammed Rangrez, a
history teacher from Udaipur, created history by becoming the first person to
win a whopping Rs.1 crore on TV reality game show "Kaun Banega Crorepati
2013". It is only few days when the seventh season of the popular quiz
show, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ kick-start and what most fascinating is that the
quiz show got its first crorepati in the second week. The lucky and talented
person to win the heavy amount in the seventh season is Taj Mohammed Rangrez, a
history teacher from Udaipur.
All came to a standstill when
the show's host, megastar Amitabh Bachchan, tossed the Rs 1 crore question to
hot seat contestant Rangrez. But he answered it correctly to become the first
contestant to win the desired title of a crorepati on the seventh edition of
the show. Ecstatic Rangrez said, ”It is a moment to rejoice and celebrate and
extremely difficult to believe that ‘I am a crorepati’. It is splendid indeed
to know that I am also the first contestant this season to have won Rs. 1
crore. I was confident of the game and did not want to exhaust my lifelines at
the start of the game itself”, said estatic Rangrez. He was accompanied by his
elder sister
"It is a moment to

this season to have won Rs 1 crore," Rangrez said. "I was confident
of the game and did not want to exhaust my lifelines at the start of the game
itself," added the City of Lakes' Fatehgarh School teacher, whose
seven-year-old daughter is partially blind. He wants to use the money for her
treatment as well for his family's welfare.
He answered every question
correctly and saved all the lifelines to use later. He used his first lifeline
in the 9thquestion only. He played very confidently and went on become the
first crorepati of this season. He has been a teacher for 10 years. He was
joined by his sister on the stage to share the great moment. The episode featuring the first crorepati
winner of the season will air Sep 15. "Kaun Banega Crorepati", aired
on Sony Entertainment Channel, is the Indian adaptation of the internationally
popular format of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire".
