Marathi Actor Vinay Apte Dead | Vinay Apte Dies At 62 | Vinay Apte Died | Vinay Apte Padded Away | Marathi Actor Vinay Apte Passed Away


Popular Marathi actor Vinay Apte, known for his roles in movies like "Jogwa", "Satyagraha" and "Aarakshan", died at a city hospital today at the age of 62. A veteran of several Marathi and Hindi films, such as Chandni Bar, Ek Chalis Ki Last Local and Rajneeti, Apte was also active on the theatre and TV front. Apte had gone for a Hindi film shoot to Shimla in September. His breathing problems aggravated ever since he returned.

Apte,  who was suffering from low blood pressure, passed away after his heart started to pulse down. "Mr Vinay Apte was admitted to the hospital yesterday at 8.24 pm. He died today at 5.45 pm. The cause of his death is multiple organ failure and secondary to acute coronary syndrome," Dr Ram Narain, COO of Kokilaben Ambani Hospital

Apte worked both in films and on television. He has acted in television serials like "Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon" and "Adalat" and in the Marathi soap "Durva". The actor is survived by his wife and son Vihaan.
