Khatron Ke Khiladi is back with Season 5 and this time with new host Rohit Shetty. Amidst fireworks and specially designed stunts, Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi's fifth season was launched at a suburban hotel recently. Shetty, who will host the show said, "I decided to become a host because this show has action and stunts." The show will be aired on colors. Meet the contestants of this season:

Bollywood actress and Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauhar Khan is also participating along with her boyfriend and TV Kushal Tondon. Gauahar Khan said, "The show will be very taxing because I have just completed a reality show. But I could not resist the temptation to try these stunts."

The entire show will be shot in South Africa and will premiere on Colors in the summer of 2014.

The event also saw CEO of Colors Raj Nayak vouching for Rohit Shetty being the obvious choice for season 5, “Akshay Kumar has done a fantastic job in the past but we wanted somebody new this season. He (Rohit Shetty) understands stunts like nobody else and has produced the bigest blockbusters of Hindi cinema.”
