Bollywood actor Imran Khan has described his upcoming film 'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein' as one of the most fun work experiences that he has had till date. "For me this is the most fun film. What makes it special is the chemistry and interaction between me and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Sriram Venkat (Imran Khan) is the most shallow guy on earth who doesn't value relationships, family, friends, life or the country. Not necessarily in that order. Because he couldn't care less about the order. This makes him the clear 'black' sheep of the family.

The first half is bang on in terms of novelty and introduction of the characters. It revolves around a Urban city, with a carefree Imran who doesn’t value his relationships or commitments, but slowly begins to realise his love for Kareena. Till interval, the story is extremely predictable. However, what saves the film is Malhotra’s treatment. Moving on, Dia is the kind of girl who wants to do something for the poor, while Sriram finds such talk to be fake. He, in fact, feels Dia need to 'chill' a little more in life.

Punit Malhotra did alright with his easygoing, easily forgotten 'I Hate Luv Storys'. Imran is quite the same here, not holding anything sacred or dear in that very with-it cool way and then letting loose on what he really thinks about fellow rich kids like him but with bleeding hearts.

Imran was criticised for his weak performance in ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobara’, however the actor impresses big time as Sriram. He keeps it simple, knows his limitations and delivers what could well be his most spontaneous performance. His interactions with Dia’s father and Anupam Kher are hilarious. Kareena Kapoor Khan adds life to Dia. Her performance in Gori Tere Pyaar Mein will be a treat for her fans. Like always, she looks stunning! Watch out for her sequences in the village standing up against Anupam Kher. Shraddha Kapoor gets a decent amount of screen time for a cameo. Her character is very likeable. Anupam Kher is brilliant in a role with grey shades. Esha Gupta has one song, Dhat Teri Ki.

The songs of the film are already a hit among audiences. So we are sure you are going to enjoying watching Kareena and Imran grooving on the large screen. The actors of the film say that songs in the movie are what will make it entertaining. Apart from Kareena and Imran, Gori Tere Pyaar Mein also features hottie Shraddha Kapoor as a simple and traditional girl. All in all, the story is weak. Direction is poor too. Had Puneet stuck to a different kind of film perhaps, one that catered more to generation Z's rich tastes, then that film would've definitely fared better. Vishal-Shekhar have composed the music in the film, and when heard otherwise, the songs seem nice.

Movie Rating 2.5/5
