Aamir Khan's Two Daughters In Dangal Movie
As we already updated that Aamir Khan’s
next movie is Dangal and the film unit is looking for female leads to play
daughter roles. Finally Fatima Sana
Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra have been
roped for female actors to play Aamir Khan’s daughters in the film ‘Dangal’
Sanya, right in the photo is a Delhi based
girl and a trained ballet dancer. She’s appeared in an advertisement. Fatima left
in the photo is based in Mumbai and worked as a child artist in the movie
‘Chachi 420’ and was also seen in the movie ‘Bittoo Boss’ and ‘Dangal’ will be the first film to cast her in
a substantial role.
‘Dangal’ will be shot from September to
December this year. Then Aamir will take a four month break to lose a lot of
weight to play a younger version of himself in the same film. The last shoot
will happen in May next year and will have Aamir playing a 27-year-old young
man and its schedule for release around Christmas in 2016.
'Dangal' is based on the life of the
Haryana wrestler Mahavir Phogat, who went against the convention and tradition
to teach wrestling to his two daughters, Geeta and Babita Phogat. The daughters
did their father proud when Geeta became the first Indian wrestler to win gold
at 2010 Commonwealth Games. Babita won the silver medal.
Aamir Khan who will essay
the role of Mahavir, says 'Dangal' is not just about wrestling. It’s an
inspiring story about father-daughter relationship and a tale of women
empowerment.
