The trailer of Aanand L. Rai’s ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ released today and its sequel to 2011’s hit rom-com ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, which was also directed by Aanand L. Rai.

Trailer Review: ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ starts 6 years after the point where ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ ended. After falling in love and getting married in the first film, Tanu (Kangana Ranaut) and Manu’s (R Madhavan) married life has hit a rough patch and the two decide to get divorced. Meanwhile, Manu falls in love with Kusum (Kangana), who looks exactly like Tanu. What happens next, forms the rest of the tale. The film releases in theatres on 22nd May 2015.

Kangana is arguably the best female actor in the industry today and she is super-impressive in the trailer of ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’. The scene where she talks in Haryanvi, Kangana absolutely nails the scene. Deepak Dobriyal and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub have important roles to play and their characters and comic timing will be something to watch out for. A highly under-rated actor in the Hindi film industry, Madhavan’s excels in romantic comedies. A forgotten classic like ‘Ramji Londonwale’ is an absolute must-watch for those who haven’t watched the film.
