Shahid Kapoor tried hard to keep the news of his wedding plans and his lady love, Mira Rajput under the wrap but once the news was out, the actor didn’t deny it.

Meera is a third year student in Lady Shri Ram College and is studying English honours. They both met at Radha Swami vyas function. Shahid had openly expressed her desire to marry girl from a non-film background. Mira is 23 year old girl and student of English hons at LSR and did her schooling from Vasant Velley School. They met through the religious group Radha Soami Satsang Beas.

Reportedly, the two will tie the knot in June. Families of both have agreed on June 10 as the wedding day and preparations are in full swing.
